NaNoWriMo '09: Revenge of the NaNo

Passed 20k, yay! *fanfare* Doing better than I thought. Music helps a lot. I'm a little worried the story itself is going too slow, since I'm this far and I still haven't actually gotten to the important 'plot' part of the plot (set-up powers, activate!) and still haven't even introduced a couple characters. On the other hand, I have more ideas for the beginning and end of this thing than the middle, so maybe this'll help me think of new stuff while wasting pages at the same time. It's a win-win! I guess.

I'll probably post it at my Dreamwidth here at some point, since I'm writing half of it there (cheers for a slow workplace), but I need to fix typos and stuff first. On the bright side, I finally have a title and it only took me a week and a half.
