Notes: Part two! Glad people liked the first part of this, I really wasn't too sure about it. Meant to post this sooner, caught a cold, got lazy. This'll probably end up being 4-5 parts all together, depending on how long I feel like making each part.

First draft of Harlequin fic is complete at last *collapses dramatically on couch* Ended up at not quite 40,000 words but I think I'm going to need to edit it with a hatchet so we'll see what happens. I'll be out of town and laptop-less all weekend though so nothing'll probably get done until at least Monday. I like to think of it as letting the fic settle until I don't hate it anymore and can edit it with more clear purpose and less seething insecurity.

Progress on Olympics fic is...progressing. Nearly done but I still need to edit (lordy do I need to edit) and the last scene hates me and spits upon me and my pitiful attempts at dialogue. Bright side: clearly all I need to make me write again is a deadline and a few free hours to spend staring at KuroFai picspam on Tumblr. Bad side: currently at page 30-ish. Short things, why can't I write them?

Also did lots of sketching during slow day at work but I should probably take a break for a while because I'm getting the ultra-perfectionist self-hate vibe on again and it kills my creativity. I get stuck on nothing ever looking like it does in my head and all my various anatomy fails and then the thing ends up looking worse than it probably would've if I'd just said "Fuck it" and sketched away without caring. Ah, well, progress marches on~~
