(no subject)

Have learned how to make animated and nifty-looking icons. Yay! The only one I've made so far I'm using on Journelfen, since I get more icons there, though when I have time in the future I'm going to try and make one to use on Livejournal. It's not that great (I don't like the speed of the words, but when I fiddled with it I couldn't quite get the speed I wanted and if I kept at it I'd be working all day) but I'm happy enough with it for now, since I'm just beginning. I hope to be able to make pretty things in the future, with enough work and practice. I found some LJ communities about icon-making which are being helpful (I also found a website where I downloaded a Gargoyles font. Useless for icon-making, but cool to have. I <3 Gargoyles). Heavens help me, I've found something new to obsess over and play with when I should be writing fics. Once I make a few icons and go nuts I'm sure the whole thing will pass.
